WELCOME TO THE CITRUS LABEL GALLERY! WE ARE AT MORE THAN 6,400 LABELS, a milestone in our quest to present all of California's citrus label images from the 1880s - 1950s!! Check back regularly for the viewing of new images to the website. We are currently uploading images from a terrific collection of ultra rare images made up primarily of lemon labels, the Kniffin-Lapp Collection. We have reached the end of the alphabet in the "price opinion" exercise, Letters A - Z. We will take a breather with this process which has taken almost three years to accomplish, then start the process again catching up on images that have been more recently added. Please go to the image #4 on the homepage to read about how the price opinion is derived and about its purpose. Thanks. The Guestbook page is provided to encourage questions and receive feedback about the Citrus Label Gallery. To read comments left by others, or to add a comment, click on "about" at the top right of the homepage above. Then click onto "guestbook." Turn your computer to full screen mode (press F11) to leave a comment. Thanks.

We are now circling back around updating the labels. In a few cases, discoveries of small to large stacks of labels once considered rare have resulted in price opinion changes. This includes the labels Golden West, Growers, Home of Ramona, Mission Bridge and Orchard Queen. Updates are now complete for the label sections A - H. Dr. Jim Campos (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Dr. Dirik von Oettingen (email@example.com) are the administrators of the Citrus Label Gallery. Chad Sands is the webmaster. Joseph Jones has helped greatly, assisting. We thank you for visiting the Gallery!
